Safeguarding Policy
Anah Project believes that everyone has the right to live a life free from harm and abuse.
The charity is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all adults and young people. It recognises its responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect individuals from harm, abuse and exploitation. The charity believes that a person should never experience abuse of any kind. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all adults and young people to keep them safe. We are committed to practice in a way that protects the individual concerned.
The charity acknowledges its duty to act appropriately to any allegations, reports or suspicions of abuse.
All staff, managers, the board of trustees, volunteers, agency staff and students will endeavor to work together to encourage the development of an ethos which embraces difference and diversity and respects the rights of adults.
