Work placements
Anah Project offers a limited number of volunteering opportunities. We offer two volunteer roles: support worker and bilingual advocate. Volunteers are expected to shadow the Project’s staff.
We especially encourage volunteers from BAMER groups, as being multicultural and multilingual would be a distinct advantage. In addition, we particularly welcome applications from female volunteers who are studying or have graduated in a related field of work e.g. social studies, law or any other similar subject.
Anah Project is dedicated to ensuring BAMER women are reintegrated into society and can rebuild their lives, free from abuse and violence. The Project aims to empower service users so that they can live as strong, independent women. As such, we expect volunteers to adhere to and respect our aims, objectives, ethos and values. These include, but are not limited to:
- Empowering BAMER women
- Positively changing/ improving women’s lives
- Promoting self-belief in women and girls to aid their recovery
We strongly believe that by volunteering with us, we can equip you with new skills and help raise awareness that can be cascaded on to help others.
