COVID 19 – We are still here
Anah Project is still open to all women escaping domestic abuse despite the current COVID-19 lockdown. Thanks to the generous support of our funders we are still able to offer a 24 hours a day service.
The current government guidelines say that you may leave your home to ‘seek medical assistance or avoid injury, illness or risk of harm (including domestic abuse)’. If you need to escape abuse of any kind, do not be afraid about leaving your home.
The refuge is still open to welcome women escaping all kinds of domestic violence and abuse, including forced marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM) and so called ‘honour crimes’. We are still accepting referrals from external agencies, and all of our in-house support is continuing as normal.
If you feel unsafe, we are still here for you.
